WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TESTING YOUR FABRIC BEFORE PROCEEDING
    • Our DTF transfers are suitable for textiles/soft materials only. They are not suitable for hard substrates.
    • Before you start pressing your DTF transfers, you need to prepare your workspace. Here's what you need to do:
    1. Clean your heat press: Make sure your heat press is clean and free of any debris or residue.
    2. Set the temperature: Set your heat press to 130 to160°C. Temperatures vary according to the material pressed. These is the temperature that has yielded the best results.
    3. Preheat your heat press: Preheat your heat press for a few seconds before you start pressing your transfers.
    4. Choose your garment: Choose the garment you want to press your DTF transfer onto.
    5. Pre-press your garment: Pre-press your garment for a few seconds to remove any moisture and wrinkles.
    6. Position your transfer: Position your transfer on your garment. Use heat resistant tape to stop any movement of your transfer. Use a pressing pillow if there are any seams, buttons or collar near the area you are pressing for the best results.
    7. Cover your transfer: Cover your transfer with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper.
    8. Press your transfer: Press your transfer with medium to firm pressure for 20 - 30 seconds.
    9. Peel off the transfer: Allow the transfer to cool and then peel the transfer off. If it sticks a little leave it to cool a little longer it should come off easily.
    10. Second Press: Cover the image with teflon and press a second time on  medium to firm pressure for 10 seconds.
    11. Stretching and Washing: Do not wash or stretch the garment for 24 hours after pressing.
    12. Guidelines: Please see our guidelines below - however depending on suppliers and materials these may differ. Please test your material before proceeding with a transfer to avoid burning or disappointing results.
